A Rocha Team meets students of Asiakwa SOS

As part of activities to raise awareness on the need to preserve the environment and the importance of the Atewa Forest to the indigenes and neighboring communities around the Atewa forest, A Rocha Ghana has had a tete-a-tete with students of Asiakwa SOS to educate them on the need to preserve and protect the Atewa forest.

The students were taught that regardless of their age they had a contribution to make in keeping and maintaining the environment especially the Atewa forest. They were also taught that they could be agents of change in their various homes and communities.

The talk was climaxed with the students being inducted into A Rocha students club to propagate the news of harnessing the environment in line with nature, and helping the effort in making Atewa a national park.
